Available in a choice of Field Olive or DIRT Camo, our Ascent Soft Shell Trousers are the ultimate cold-weather pants for hunting, stalking and hillwalking.

They feature a rugged polyester outer for superb abrasion resistance and durability together with a warm, high-wicking, grid-fleece inner.

Laminated between these two layers is a membrane which provides a Hydrostatic Head of 5,000mm in conjunction with a high level of breathability — the seams are not sealed so we can’t claim they’re ‘waterproof’ but they could certainly be described as highly water resistant. They’re also extremely quick drying and warm when they’re wet — which, in many ways, is the most important thing when you’re out on the hill.

Needless to say, the whole fabric is silent.

They feature two large cargo pockets on the thighs together with two deep, zipped hand pockets — all the zips fasten with easy-grab pullers, making them straightforward to operate with cold or gloved hands.

Rugged belt loops and a tough, over-sized belt button combine to keep your trousers where they should be — up!

Durable poppers at the ankles enable you to cinch the trousers tight around your boots.
