Galaxy Of Celestial Gifts Handmade Batik Scarf in Organic Cotton - Longer Length

Measurements for this scarf are a long 66" x 13.5"  

This bright batik design started with a vibrant pink base color over the first layer of wax.  Next color was a strong midnight blue.  The combination gives us a crisp dark blue-purple.

This soft fabric was handwoven with organic cotton before I created the batik design.  There are natural variations in the weave.  My vigorous batik process ensures the strength of the fiber, which means you can machine was this. 

For this scarf I turned the edges twice over, and sewed them closed with organic cotton thread before painting the design.  I use pure beeswax and manually boil each piece clean before washing and drying.

Fabric: 100% organic cotton

Washing instructions: Machine wash is best, then tumbled dry low until damp and hang to dry to shape.
